1. About the Service

MacShutter (https://macshutter.com) is a screenshot and screen recording application for macOS, operated by Graphic Research. These Terms govern your use of the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MacShutter, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when signing up.
  • Your account is for your personal use only and may not be transferred to others.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, please notify us immediately at [email protected].

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

  • Free: Basic capture features available at no cost.
  • Pro ($2.99): One-time purchase for lifetime access to all annotation tools and future updates.

5. Payments and Refunds

  • Pro is a one-time purchase of $2.99 (USD).
  • Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Card information is not stored directly by Graphic Research.
  • You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase with one click from your Billing page. No questions asked.

6. Acceptable Use

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws
  • Impersonating others or providing false information
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Distributing or reselling license codes without authorization
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Graphic Research and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Service Changes and Interruption

  • We may modify Service features with prior notice.
  • The Service may be temporarily interrupted due to force majeure or technical issues.
  • If the Service is discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and a data export period.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graphic Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the settings page.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts after prior warning for violations of these Terms.
  • For data handling upon account deletion, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We will notify you of changes via in-service notice or email.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
